Acupuncture Treatment for Rheumatoid Arthritis
Has anyone tried this? did it help?? my mom has been getting worse and they want to change her meds but shed rather not even take them if necessary!
Answer: Arthritis help is difficult, whether with conventional or alternative treatments, because it’s an inflammatory disease with remissions/exacerbation’s, and so it’s hard to know whether a treatment helped the symptoms or it was just time for the symptoms to go away for a while.
I would definitely consider acupressure and/or massage, which is less risky than someone sticking needles in you. If you (your relative) go the acupuncture route, see if you can have your own needles and/or make them show the autoclave. There is a risk of disease anytime blood may occur–whether it’s dental, colonoscopy, piercing or acupuncture–if the people don’t sterilize everything. See the current VA colonoscopy troubles.
Answer: Some doctors use low-dose, long-term antibiotic(minocycline) therapy for rheumatoid arthritis, which offers a chance for a cure. Early treatment is best to avoid further damage to joints:
Other things to look into for RA are:
vitamin D
celery
fish oil
turmeric
pineapple
Devil’s Claw herb
