Film about Lyme Disease

I am posting this as a service to people who are interested in the topics of medical mysteries, insurance industry abuse, or who know someone suffering from Lyme disease.

There is a new beautiful/scary documentary film called UNDER OUR SKIN (“There’s no medicine for someone like you”) that will be showing at the IFC center (6th Ave in the West Village, Manhattan) from Friday June 16 through Friday June 25.

Lyme disease is an under-reported, growing epidemic and is often misdiagnosed as chronic fatigue syndrome, fibromyalgia, multiple sclerosis, ADHD, depression, etc.

Personally I’ve seen UNDER OUR SKIN about 6 times – as a patient, I find it an amazing film and it was one of the most popular films at last year’s Tribeca Film festival – runner-up for Audience Choice Award.
