Vitamin D deficiency Symptoms? Sore, Muscle Pain and Hurts
I am wonder why I am so sore… My friend told me its a vitamin D deficiency, but I don’t believe it. I am 28 and feel like I am 40. My muscles hurt in the morning. Mostly in my pelvis area. My muscles some time twitch. After being at work for a few hours my back starts to hurt and I have a burning feeling between my left shoulder blade to my right one. Its kinda hard to pin point it. My legs are sore, my feet kill.
My knees bother me. It is all mostly muscle pain I feel. OH and if I sit for to long my feet or one foot will fall asleep. As far as sleeping goes no issues. My appetite is good. I just feel like I been at the gym all day when I have not. Anyone else have similar symptoms? If so what did they diagnose you with?
Answer: Bet my bottom dollar it’s vitamin D deficiency. A lack of vitamin D has been linked to unexplained bone/muscle pain and to – you got it – muscle twitching.
More Americans are deficient in vitamin D than in any other vitamin, except for B12. Anyhow, it would be a cheap experiment. Vitamin D3 pills are cheap. Most people are deficient and it doesn’t hurt to try it. If you don’t have other symptoms, like fatigue, it could be as simple as a vitamin deficiency.
Also, sorry you are in such pain; however, the pain suggests you need to see a physician ASAP and not seek a diagnosis on the web. many serious conditions are ameliorated by early intervention. good luck.
