Seems about weekly now that I become absurdly dizzy for 10 seconds or so. I think it has always been while sitting. It’s hard to explain – it’s not that the room is spinning, but that I feel like I’m about to black out (or something). My blood pressure is not low. I have mentioned it to several doctors but no one is impressed. :P It happened today while driving, which was scary.

Any ideas? Google isn’t helping me out much given the wide variety of issues that have faintness as a symptom (but what might *only* have feeling faint?)

Answer
Dizziness most common symptom of anxiety people can get anxious (or have panic attacks) while driving, especially if they feel trapped on freeway.

So please.. Talk to your doctor again. Blackouts are nothing to kid about and the doctors and you should take this seriously. They might not be impressed but that doesn’t mean they can’t figure it out. It might mean tests and more, but you have to rule out dangerous causes.
