My husband once told me a story of how when he was a child he had some hearing impairment and remembers how to treat it he had his adenoids’ and tonsils removed but they grew back so he was taken to Hagerstown for a treatment “Radium” to burn them out.

Well 10 years later I am reading a book about “Plasma Multiple Myeloma”, which my husband had just been given the diagnosis and one chapter explains the people most likely to develop it they are African-American, males in their early 50’s, Or anyone exposed to high dose of radiation. Kevin is a Caucasian Male, 47 years old.

Suddenly I remembered his story of being given the “Radium” treatment, this has led me on a quest for information on this subject. This treatment caused cancer in anyone who had it, an estimated 2.5 MILLION Americans and no one has been notified!! Congress ordered the medical profession to be schooled in taking background history to locate these individuals.

My husband is a patient of one of the best cancer facility in GA. and we mentioned his procedure at 2 different appointments and no one listened until I took in the research I had done. Then he listened, asked why we hadn’t mentioned it and accepted my research and said he would read up on it. Anybody know anything about this subject?
