How to Heal strep throat? Home remedies?

I may be getting strep throat again. I had it twice in a row over a year ago. I looked in the back of my throat and I see some lumps on the right side (where it is painful) but no white like there was when I had strep. Should I wait this out? I mean, maybe it isn’t strep. I also don’t have health insurance. Any remedies for making the pain stop? Thanks

Take oregano oil, a few drops in glass of warm water. gurgle, swallow, repeat.
