Metoprolol and Toprolol side effects: Blood pressure Help
I am hoping I can explain my question right. When a medication says that it may cause dizziness, can that happen with different “batches”? I am on the generic blood pressure drug, Metoprolol. I switch to that about a year ago from the regular Toprolol. A few months back, I went through about a month where I was dizzy. Right away I was back to normal without ever knowing what was causing it. Now, since the very day I started taking this months refill a few weeks ago, I have been starting to have the same dizziness. I will be finished this bottle in a few days. I am anxious to see if the dizziness goes away. My blood pressure has been holding steady all month around 116/81 so that isn’t too high or low.
Any ideas? Thanks.

Diet, pollen, heat, and stress can effect you to some drug makers have high variances in the product. Most likely, the one was on a palette or truck too long, and it got over 120 degrees (or whatever the magic temperature is) where it changes something.
I’d recommend you to talk to your doctor. Not all symptoms will be associated with this drug for everyone taking it. This goes with any drug. They list it because during the trials, some complaints were brought up about certain symptoms one or more persons were experiencing. This drug could be causing your BP to drop to low and it took your body a certain amount of time to recover. Once again, speak to your doctor about this issue.
