Bloody noses 3 years after surgery.
I had sinus surgery. One nostril is really sensitive and will bleed if poked, squeezed or even scratched. Or if I sleep on it wrong. How can this be fixed? Cauterize? My brother had that done years ago with not so great results.
Answer
Poking sinuses.
So you are bleeding from your nose when it is “poked, squeezed or even scratched. Or if I sleep on it wrong.”
Well, for one, keep your fingers out of your nose. You can try sleeping on your back, using a pillow under your knees will help you not roll over in your sleep. Use a humidifier in your bedroom to keep the air moist so your mucus membranes don’t get dried out and bleed easily.
If the bleeding is new see your doctor- if this has been going on for 3 years since surgery you should have called your doctor a long time ago.
