I went to orientation today for nursing school and have to have titers for hepatitis B and Varicella. Noboby seems to know where I can get them. The health dept says they don’t do them. Hospital says they do with a dr order. Doc said he’ll write and order but it’s very expensive. I live in Ocean Springs MS and need help PLEASE!!!!!!
Not an option for me to not get the vaccines. Already got them. Now I need the titers, which is ridiculous if you ask me. But rules are rules I guess. I can’t believe all the hoops I have to jump through for nursing school. Vaccines, TB skin tests, titers, physical, hair follicle tests, criminal background check, fingerprints, cpr certification, and the list goes on. Anyway, just thought someone would have had to get these titers and could recommend somewhere. I have an appt with my family doc friday. They’re sending me to the hospital to spend a fortune.
Thanks

You know the answer. your doctor will write the orders and the hospital will run the tests. And yes, it is expensive.

All vacs are dangerous to your health. Dont do it. If you can get away with them your health will thank you in the long term. Otherwise vacs can give you cancer far in the future. Then again, more people take this fake poisonous shots, the more sickly people there will be and the more work for you! Hooraay!
