Please Help me..

Medi-cal is no longer providing services for persons with chronic back pain. Thay actually cut alot of medical services for clients. I can no longer receive medication/ treatment for my medical diagnosed problem under my insurance. I need to know where I can continue to receive percocet to treat my pain. I have all my medical records, including my MRI and CT scans to prove my disability. Anyone out there please help me. Have you ever had to crawl out of bed. I would greatly appreciate all serious responses .Thanks

I don’t know how it will relate to your health coverage, but it seems so many doctors have decided the paperwork and aggravation and risk to their jobs relating to prescribing narcotics for any long term pain patients is just not worth it.

So, are you able to get the prescription written for the percocet, just not finding a way to have it paid for? Or, are you also in need of a doctor to write the Rx?

I use a narcotic for long-term pain, but not an oxy-based one,(I believe percocet is oxycodone and acetaminophin). Lots of pharmacies around here won’t even carry the oxy-based drugs because of threat of robbery.

I am able to get hydrocodone/apap (generic lortab) for a reasonable cost, I think, from the Costco pharmacy. I believe they are less expensive than the generics for percocet, but had trouble even finding them available to check prices for them online when I was looking last month at a number of pharmacy chains. How much do the percocets, or generics, cost?
