Has anyone ever heard of someone getting mouth sores that are white in color and are on the inside of my lips and under my tongue? I am a health 38yr old male who has never bewen sick a day in my life i dont smoke,drink or do drugs an im married an faithful so dont say its a v.d….thanks for any help have a great day

Could be anything from drinking too much, orange juice to thrush (fungal infection). Worst case scenario… it’s an early symptom of HIV infection as well. Just because YOU are married and faithful doesn’t mean your partner is. a doctor and get it checked.

Sounds like a canker sore everyone gets those. By the way… no one calls them venereal disease. It is now STI’s (sexually transmitted infections) or STD’s (sexually transmitted diseases).

It could be coxsackievirus or hand, foot and mouth disease. Sometimes there are flu like symptoms that accompany the whitish blisters that form in the mouth. This is extremely contagious and you need to visit your doctor immediately.

See the dentist, white patches are signs of various conditions i believe including oral cancer. Being you don’t smoke I’m assuming you don’t chew. May not be that crazy but obviously not normal.

Almost certainly, canker sores (aphthous ulcers). Fairly common to get multiple ulcers.
Most minor aphthae heal in 7-10 days with no scarring. Something like Orabase will cover these painful sores long enough to eat. Some have recommended lactobacillus or yogurt to help re-establish bacterial flora in the mouth. I haven’t seen much real research as to whether this actually works, just anecdotal.
